The Medical Marvels Chicago Chapter seeks empowerment among youth and low access communities by advocating for their medical literacy.
We are a community of motivated, young individuals who are committed to creating a change in the medical field by implementing medical literacy at a yougner age, impacting healthcare from the bottom up.

"We wanted to create an impact in this particular aspect of healthcare system as we feel a need for medical equity: increased education on how to get more involved within the medical community (ie. the pathway to become a physician, knowing common medical conditions and the science behind it). Coming from first generation immigrant families ourselves, we strive to provide the lack of information we experience to the youth and low-access communities around us, all of which is a collective effort to seal the gap between different classes and immigrant families."
